Wafer cake “Hazelnut brittle”



Wafer sheets “Family” – 1 pack

Walnut - 150 g

Snacks – 1 pack

Butter – 200 g

Honey – 2 tsp

Sugar – 1 tsp

Cocoa powder – 2 tsp

Milk – 4 tsp

Lemon acid – ½ tea spoon

Condensed milk – 4 tsp

Glaze for a cake – 100g

Chip Coconut – 50g

Sugar powder – 150g

An egg – 1 pcs

Lemon juice – 20 ml





Grind nuts, cookies break hands into small pieces. In a small saucepan shift, nuts, cookies, sugar, honey, pour milk, stir and put on a slow fire. Cook until the honey and sugar melt, stir constantly to avoid burning (20-30 seconds after boiling).


Remove from an oven, add butter, lemon acid. Wait for the butter to melt and stir for a while. Allow to cool slightly, but not completely.


Divide the mass into 2 portions and spread onto 2 layers, the upper one and third leave blank.


Put on top of a heavy plate or a small pan with 500 ml of water.


Leave in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until it freezes.


Cookies grind in a blender into crumbs. Crumb should be the same and small. Also, cookies can be grated on a very fine grater.


Mix the crumbs with the remnants of the cream to a thick paste. To make the paste more liquid, add some cream or milk. A thin layer, coat the sides and top cake. Put the cake on a dish or serving plate


Prepare "Icing": Mix1 egg-whites together with 150 g powdered sugar, add a few drops of lemon juice. The mass should be very thick. Put in a pastry bag or bag, make a small hole with scissors. Draw or print snowflakes or other figures on plain paper, cover the paper with a sheet of parchment, or any transparent surface, film, package, file will fit. Draw on the contour of the figure and allow to dry for 5-12 hours.
